For Media Personnel
The Nippon Scout Jamboree, organized by the Scout Association of Japan (Executive Board Chairman: Kanetsugu Mike), is the largest educational camp event for youth in Japan, held every four years. The 19th event took place in August 2026 in Jinsekikogen Town, Hiroshima. While the previous event was held in a dispersed manner across the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 19th event brought together participants from all over Japan and abroad for the first time in eight years. Approximately 8,000 people (including 1,600 volunteer staff)

Through nature experience activities through camp life, programs that make use of the characteristics of the host region, and programs that incorporate social issues, we provide opportunities for individual participants to make new discoveries and experiences, while also providing opportunities for participants to interact with each other, form bonds of friendship, develop international awareness, and consider world peace.

Coverage of Regional Dispatch Preparation Events
Starting around March 2026, all 47 prefectural federations held preparation events such as dispatch team formation ceremonies, pre-training camps, and send-off parties, ahead of the largest youth camp event in Japan held for the first time in eight years.
